A layered nose of dark fruits and toasty oak that open up with time in the glass. Rich and intense, with a chewy core of earthy currant and blackberry fruit that has a nice mineral edge, with a mix of sweet oak, herb and sage. The tannins are firm but integrated, giving an anchor to the long finish.
